My Psychological Approach
"How much has your life been about what your mind suggests, rather than what you want it to be?"

My approach:
Behavioral-Contextual Therapies:
This perspective believe that one can only understand someone by considering the context in which they are inserted, and that all behavior has a reason for existing, even if it is causing suffering and needs to change.
It is a very welcoming perspective, which understands the patient while providing tools for conscious change. It also considers that the patient is proactive in his/her transformation process, engaging in therapeutic proposals while respecting his/her pace and possibilities.
It focuses on the development of psychological flexibility, a concept that brings together a series of psychological skills that together promote greater well-being, meaning and purpose in life.
Greater openness to experiences is developed, building tools to deal with life's challenges in a present, self-compassionate and value-aligned way. In this way, a life worth living is built, in which the patient acts consciously and with value in the search for what makes sense to him/herself.
