SEXUAL COGNITIVE THERAPY
THE SEXUAL COGNITIVE THERAPY
Sexual Cognitive Therapy is a psychotherapy approach that is specialized in addressing issues of sexuality, gender, and relationships. SCT is structured on the theoretical and technical bases of evidence-based behavioral psychotherapeutic approaches (cognitive-behavioral and behavioral-contextual) applied to sexuality and gender issues.
The structure of the service is the same as that of conventional psychotherapy, but the focus of the treatment is the sexual, gender-related and relational aspects of the patient's life.
In this way, the therapeutic process prioritizes treating complaints, dissatisfaction and sexual dysfunctions, suffering with gender identity and sexual orientation, relational difficulties with the partner, etc.
Important information: Sexual Cognitive Therapy is only available online.
